It’s Time To Recover All – 1 Samuel 30

The Lord recently led me to 1 Samuel 30. Its the story about David and his mighty men’s home town – Ziklag, being attacked, plundered and destroyed by the Amalekites. Then it goes on to show David’s and the Lord’s response to this adverse situation.

There have been a lot of Christians that have been attacked in different areas of their lives by the enemy over numerous years. I see many believers’ relationships, health and finances unjustly targeted by the enemy. This has caused them to feel greatly discouraged and burnt out.

However I see these believers strengthening themselves in the Lord again. Yes as they praise and worship God and cry out to Him for justice the Lord is saying to them to pursue their enemies and to overtake them and without fail will recover all that was stolen.

Its time to go into the enemy’s camp and violently take back all that the enemy has stolen.”The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force”, Matthew 11:12. For the Lord will protect His saints and deliver into your hand the enemy that has come against you. Believers will recover all that was taken from them and nothing will be missing.

God will not only restore all that was stolen from the body of Christ, but will give you double for all the trouble that the enemy brought upon you. “Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours”, Isaiah 61:7.

I see the plunder and spoils that have been recovered from the enemy overflowing in Christians lives so that they will have more than enough to meet their own needs and of many others as well. “For the LORD your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none,” Deuteronomy 15:6.
